Interior drain tile, sump basins, and vapor barrier wall systems installed by technicians who've done this hundreds of times in Metuchen, NJ basements.
Basement waterproofing mistakes usually come down to one thing: fixing the symptom instead of the source. A contractor who paints over a wet wall without checking cove joint condition or exterior grading is setting you up for the same call again in a year or two.
We're bonded and insured for both residential and light commercial basement work across Metuchen, NJ.
Most inspection requests get a same-day or next-day appointment, not a two-week wait.
No hourly billing and no change orders once your basement floor is already open.
We use pin-type moisture meters and a flashlight-and-crowbar inspection to trace water back to its real entry point.
We scope every Basement Waterproofing job in person before quoting it, since two properties with the same symptom rarely need the same fix.
The core fix for most Metuchen, NJ basements: a perimeter drain cut into the slab edge, tied to a sump basin, that intercepts water before it reaches the floor.
Every drain tile system needs a properly sized sump pump — we calculate basin size and pump horsepower from your square footage and local water table depth.
Vertical wall cracks get epoxy or polyurethane injection depending on whether they're still actively weeping.
We install membrane on masonry walls before any insulation or framing goes up, so moisture never gets a chance to reach finished materials.
Window wells that hold water after a storm are a direct pressure point against the glass and frame — we add gravel beds and drain lines tied into the main system.
You describe what you're seeing — a wet spot, a musty smell, standing water — and we get a rough read on urgency before dispatching anyone.
We also check exterior grading and downspouts, since a lot of basement leaks start outside, not inside.
We explain the reasoning behind the recommended system so you know exactly what you're paying for and why.
You'll get warranty paperwork and a walkthrough of how the system works so you know what to expect going forward.
"We'd patched a basement crack twice ourselves before calling. The interior drain tile system actually fixed it instead of just hiding it again."
— Metuchen Homeowner
"Sump basin was undersized from the last owner's DIY job. They resized it and we haven't had a drop since."
— Metuchen Customer
"They walked us through exactly why the water was coming in before quoting anything, which no one else had bothered to do."
— Metuchen Homeowner
"Installed a battery backup sump pump for us right before a big storm season — glad we did it when we did."

Every Metuchen, NJ quote is itemized in writing so you can see exactly what drives the total.
We keep the cut as narrow as possible and clean up debris before leaving the site.
Most residential interior drain tile and sump installations finish in one to three days depending on basement size.
If the crack is actively weeping or part of a larger drainage issue, we'll recommend a full system instead of a spot fix.
Coverage depends on your policy and the cause of the water intrusion — we can document conditions for a claim, but approval is up to your insurer.
Warranty terms are often transferable if you sell the property later.
If your Metuchen address falls just outside our standard coverage zone, call anyway — we often still make the trip for basement emergencies.
